Actividades del grupo

El Grupo de Neuroimagen Computacional es un grupo altamente metodológico que combina conectividad cerebral y machine learning en investigación clínica. Formado por profesionales con diferente especialización, combinamos Ingeniería, Matemáticas, Física, Biología y Medicina para entender el cerebro. En concreto, nuestro paradigma fundamental es la conectividad cerebral, para definir redes en el cerebro tanto a nivel estructural como funcional.

Desde aquí estudiamos, por ejemplo, cómo ciertas funciones cognitivas como la atención o la memoria están representadas en determinadas redes cerebrales, o cómo ciertas patologías como las neurodegenerativas o la epilepsia desconectan o alteran a determinadas redes.
